so what do i do now?

should i just sit tight and chill,
without knowing how it's gonna make me feel,
or if it's gonna get me killed,
because my mind's a machine in a mill,
asking myself whether it's real,
this thing i used to call a sure-deal.

the silent night hymn shouldn't make one suffer,
although it could be taking a bit longer,
before i can be pretty sure,
that the sky's totally clear,
for the fireworks to light up the atmosphere.

let this pursuit takes its toll,
to those around me, to my body, to my soul,
nothing's too dear for you, my gold,
you gotta beat me harder for me to fold.

if this is an obsession,
i'd rather regard it a passion,
and i don't run away from a mission.

so what do i do now?
i gotta get to you somehow.
